Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Team Manager, managing a team of experience IFA Client Services Executives on a full-time permanent basis

Personality
This candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of client services executives and administrators, ensuring efficient management of workflow, compliance with regulatory requirements and the delivery of excellent client service to their internal and external clients.
You will be a confident and supportive leader who leads by example, motivating and developing their team while fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. With a strong eye for detail and quality, you will take ownership of reviewing work, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement across processes and ways of working.

Job Role:
Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Client Service Executives and Administrators, while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment
Managing workload allocation and team capacity to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of administrative and technical support to Financial Advisers
Ensuring all administrative processes, including client onboarding, policy administration, new business submissions, and document management, are completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
Monitoring compliance with regulations and internal policies, identifying risks, and reviewing and approving team output to maintain quality and regulatory standards
Driving continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, implementing flexible audit processes, and embedding a “right first time” culture while recognising high performance.
Supporting team development through regular training, performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and ongoing coaching.
Acting as a point of escalation for complex queries from administrators, clients, and financial advisers, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
Ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication with financial advisers and external stakeholders
Tracking team performance through KPIs and providing regular reports to senior management
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in financial services administration
An understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
Experience in supervising or mentoring a team
Organisation and time management
Experience using both Microsoft applications and industry-specific software
