Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an established organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Quality Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

Package and Benefits
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Performance bonus up to 8% of base salary annually

Job Role
Establishing and implementing quality policies, procedures and long-term improvement plans to maintain consistently high standards
Ensuring quality, health, safety and environmental management systems remain compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alongside relevant external assurance schemes
Leading internal and external audits, inspections and certification assessments while acting as the main point of contact for quality-related matters
Analysing quality, customer, supplier and internal performance data and KPIs to identify trends, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement
Leading root cause investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Managing, coaching and developing the Quality, HSE and Goods In team while setting objectives, targets and supporting ongoing performance
Managing risk, waste compliance and customer quality concerns while collaborating with stakeholders across the business to improve processes and operational performance
Skills and Experience
Demonstrating a proven track record of Health & Safety management within a manufacturing, warehousing and transport environment
Holding a NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma
Demonstrating proven experience using quality tools including 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5 Whys
Possessing comprehensive working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Demonstrating experience working within an environment operating to recognised management standards
Possessing excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality written reports and presentations
Demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop a team
Having experience using SAP, SharePoint and Excel would be advantageous
Holding Six Sigma Green Belt and a Quality, CMI or ILM qualification would be advantageous
