Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Witton. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Junior Buyer on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Role:

  • Building purchase forecasts

  • Placing orders with suppliers

  • Liaising with logistics regarding delivery slots

  • Dealing with internal customer special requests

  • Maintaining the order file

  • Maintaining the stock file with special emphasis on ROPs

  • Stock recording delivered goods

  • Processing supplier invoices and dealing with any queries

  • Updating sell out prices



Skills and experience:

  • Strong Administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • A high degree of organisation and ability to prioritise workload

  • Good communication skills, professional telephone manner

  • Comfortable speaking to suppliers by telephone and face to face

  • Flexible approach, willing to learn a wide variety of tasks and roles
