From humble beginnings in a broom cupboard to our very own Oakley HQ, we’ve grown into a thriving team of seven passionate recruitment specialists, alongside our much-loved mascot, Hattie. Oakley has been supporting top names in the industry to find the ideal candidates since October of 2020.

Oakley Recruitment Founder
Hayley founded Oakley in 2020 as the ideal solution to flexible working, allowing her to spend more time with her children and take a new approach to the field of recruitment. With more than 20 years of industry experience, starting a brand-new business seemed the natural next step.
As a crazy passionate recruiter with an excellent
reputation, she transformed Oakley from a single-person company into the flourishing business it is today, forming long-term partnerships with dozens of clients to help them achieve their recruitment goals.

Principal Recruitment Consultant
Lucy is our professional services recruitment expert for qualified roles across Finance, HR, and Marketing. With ten years industry experience, covering both temporary and permanent hires Lucy is at the top of her game when it comes to placing her candidates in the right environment. If you’re lucky enough to work with her, she will work tirelessly to achieve your career goals.
An extremely passionate individual, consistently striving to ensure the candidate's journey is the best it can be. Loves socialising with family and friends and has a wicked sense of humour, if this girl is on your side, you won’t look back.

Joanne Adams
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Joanne specialises in recruiting temporary and permanent roles for entry-level candidates, bringing a keen eye for talent and a commitment to getting it right every time. Her dedication and attention to detail ensure both clients and candidates receive a seamless and successful recruitment experience.
Joanne is well known for consistently receiving candidate referrals and earning an impressive number of glowing Google reviews — a true reflection of the trust and satisfaction she builds with every placement.
Joanne is our fitness fanatic and loves a good bootcamp session and a cold water dip.

Since joining Oakley, Emily has already achieved two well-earned promotions — a testament to her dedication, growth, and determination to succeed. Bella Howell

Bella plays a crucial role in supporting the consultants across candidate sourcing and talent attraction. With outstanding relationship-building skills and a naturally personable approach, Bella consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every candidate has a memorable and positive experience throughout their journey with Oakley. Since joining the business as an apprentice, Bella has already achieved two well-deserved promotions , a true reflection of her dedication, growth, and passion for people. She is a valued asset to the Oakley team, and if you have the pleasure of working with her, Bella will take the time to truly understand you, ensuring she matches you with the right environment where you can bloom, blossom, and grow. Outside of work, Bella is a big fan of dance music, she is known as our Ibiza queen.

Sophie Higgins
Payroll and Compliance Administrator
Sophie is our payroll and compliance powerhouse, ensuring our temporary staff are paid accurately and on time every week. She works diligently to meet onboarding and compliance deadlines, making sure every candidate is fully compliant and ready to hit the ground running. Sophie’s positive energy and can-do attitude make her a joy to have on the team—nothing is ever too much trouble, and she’s always ready with a smile. When she’s not working, Sophie is a dedicated mom to her three children.

Scarlett Burrows
Marketing Executive
Scarlett is our fearless creative marketing expert, bringing the Oakley brand to life across all of our social media platforms. From creating engaging content and managing our online presence to advertising opportunities and supporting candidates with professional CV writing services, Scarlett plays a key role in showcasing everything Oakley stands for.
Creative, proactive, and always ready to lend a hand, Scarlett is a huge support to both our consultants and candidates alike. Her passion for people, eye for detail, and dedication to delivering a positive experience make her an invaluable and highly valued member of the Oakley team. Outside of work, Scarlett loves all things fashion and brings her creativity, style, and eye for trends into everything she does.

Fox Red Labrador, Office Mascot
Hattie was Oakley’s first recruit, joining Hayley in Dec 2020. Hattie is a key player in our team and contributes to our wellness approach, she loves a cuddle and tummy rub as well as lying in the sun in the garden.
Hattie knows when we place the right candidate in the right environment and gets involved in celebrating with the team.
