Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Technical Technician on a full-time permanent basis

Job Role:

Customer Support:

  • Providing technical support via phone and email

  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to systems, including hardware, software, and connectivity

  • Logging and tracking support requests, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction

  • Escalating complex issues to senior technical staff as needed

Project Development:

  • Assisting in the installation and configuration of systems at client locations

  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, adhering to quality standards

  • Providing on-site training on the use of new systems

  • Collaborating with project managers to coordinate deployment schedules and logistics

Warehouse Operations:

  • Managing inventory of equipment and related accessories

  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments

  • Preparing and packing equipment for project deployments and customer orders

  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment

  • Conducting regular stock checks and report discrepancies


Skills and experience:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment within the warehouse and on-site

  • Valid UK driving license (essential)

  • Previous experience in a similar role (customer support, field service, warehouse operations) is a plus
