Job Role
Reviewing and analysing sales performance vs forecasts using forecasting software
Communicating with internal departments to understand the nature of exceptional sales
Identifying trends, analysing and forecasting estimated sales ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained
Planning and monitoring stock levels
Placing purchase orders with suppliers, adhering to MOQ and MOV levels
Ensuring suppliers can fulfil existing orders within lead times
Communicating with suppliers to create and maintain positive relationships
Monitoring outstanding supplier purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to meet business requirements
Liaising with other departments for new product projects and ensuring launch dates are met
Troubleshooting stock supply issues
Booking product inspections
Keeping ETA’s updated on the Sage system
Arrange for shipment of goods from the UK to manufacturers' premises
Checking and authorising supplier invoices
Compiling reports for suppliers and management
Skills and experience
Effectively prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines
Resilient and work well under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Highley proficient at Excel
Knowledge of Import/Export procedures is beneficial but not essential
