Production Operatives- £13.55 p/h - Temporary to permanent- Preston

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Preston as a Production Operative on a full-time basis.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Transporting materials onsite

  • Operating equipment according to process instructions

  • Completing initial testing of products

  • Checking labels and packaging materials

  • Performing all operations in compliance with expected quality standards

  • Adhere to legal and company EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) rules

  • Maintaining cleanliness in designated area

  • Carrying out any other duties as requested

 

Skills and experience 

  • Experience within a similar environment

  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS office)

  • Manual work and lifting is required for this role

  • Flexible to work shifts

  • Must have good English comprehension to be able to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions
