Customer Operations Assistant - £27,000 - £29,000 - Walsall

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading organisation based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team as a Customer Operations Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.

Personality

You will need to be able to work in a reactive and fast paced environment with a passion for customer first, someone who is able to build rapport and build relationships with ease, a warm, friendly and approachable manner.


Reward

  • £27k to £29k

  • 45 hours per week; 7.30am-5pm, 8am-5.30pm, 7am-4.30pm

  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays

  • Pension scheme


Job Role

  • Managing the client's journey from inquiry to completion

  • Reaching out to existing clients, promoting services to increase turnover

  • Understanding client needs, providing professional advice and generating quotes

  • Following up on quotes and managing objections from potential clients

  • Creating and sending invoices based on quotes and client orders

  • Coordinating warehouse activities, including booking out, dispatch requests, and ordering materials

  • Planning and overseeing on-site resources and schedules

  • Arranging transportation from the fleet and ordering additional where required

  • Assisting team members with their workloads when necessary


Skills and experience

  • Sales, customer service and operations experience is essential

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Strong and confident communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

  • Strong numerical, literacy and spoken skills

  • Competent IT skills
