Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established, dynamic organisation based in Coleshill. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Buyer in the procurement team on a full-time permanent basis.

Personality
We are seeking a proactive individual who excels at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow, with experience in inventory management and replenishment. Has a proven track record of managing a supply base effectively.
Reward
After training period, 2 days working from home, 3 days in the office
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm, 1hr Lunch break
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties & Responsibilities
Identifying and prioritising the needs of internal and external stakeholders
Communicating procurement and supply issues to internal teams
Ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in procurement
Assessing potential suppliers’ commercial capabilities
Negotiating with suppliers for efficient procurement
Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations for international supplies
Collaborating with key vendors to set clear objectives and strategies
Define and track KPIs for quality, performance, cost, and delivery
Analysing data to improve supplier performance and procurement decisions
Analysing historical and forecasted data to recommend replenishment strategies for optimal service
Reducing waste without affecting service levels
Contributing to long-term inventory planning and budgeting
Skills and experience
Experience in a similar role is essential
Computer literate in IT Skills, Microsoft Office, and phone systems
Experience in an administrative role
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Resilient and flexible to change, with an ability to manage a high workload, conflicting priorities, and pressure
Strong ability to deliver upon KPIs and business objectives
