Administrator - £22,000 – £24,000

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established, dynamic organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business as an Administrator in the Purchasing and Supply Chain department on a full-time permanent basis.


Summary

Assisting the department to purchase the right stock timely according to business demand


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase orders requests, ensuring authorisation is obtained and the order specification is correctly understood before raising orders

  • Checking supplier order confirmations to ensure the correct stock is ordered and delivered in accordance with the agreed price, quantity and date

  • Chasing shipping documents

  • Keeping logs/records of invoices and other shipment documents

  • Working with logistics, Accounts and suppliers to resolve discrepancies

  • Producing data reports and helping to monitor departmental KPIs

  • Office administration


Skills and experience

  • Previous Administrative experience

  • High attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

  • Enthusiasm and results focus, with an ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines

  • Initiative in problem-solving

  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Flexible & able to follow instructions

  • Organised and efficient

  • Proficient in Excel
