SAP Administrator – Tamworth – up to £26,000

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Administrative Assistant on a full-time permanent basis

Our client is looking a candidate with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. You will have effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing material issues.

Job Role:

  • Coordinating and executing production orders and operational tasks using SAP

  • Verifying stock availability

  • Ensuring stock is transferred from warehouse locations to production or assembly lines efficiently

  • Utilising SAP to perform stock movements, reservations, and inventory checks

  • Creating and maintaining accurate documentation within SAP

  • Performing regular stock checks, reconciliations, and cycle counts

  • Monitoring critical inventory levels, alerting procurement and planning teams

  • Working closely with production planners, warehouse staff, and procurement teams

  • Coordinating with procurement to expedite material orders when necessary

  • Communicating with production teams to prioritize material staging based on production schedules

 

Skills and experience:

  • Experience with SAP or a related ERP system for material management and inventory control

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments is highly preferred

  • Basic understanding of production scheduling and demand planning processes

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing material issues
