Accounts Assistant - Tamworth - £25,000 - £28,000

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

Personality

Our client is seeking a proactive candidate who thrives both independently and in a team environment. If you have intermediate Excel experience alongside strong sage and analytical skills with good attention to detail, then this role is a great opportunity for you!

Job Role

  • Reconciling bank accounts including foreign currency

  • Posting stock invoices

  • Posting non-stock invoices including selecting appropriate nominal codes

  • Analysing credit card statements and posting

  • Analysing expenses and posting

  • Posting sales ledger cash

  • Reviewing the post and distributing

  • Distributing purchase invoices to the appropriate teams

  • Filing and scanning of all documents

  • Assisting with controls and month-end procedures


Skills and experience

  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels within the business

  • Highly organised and methodical in your approach

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise workload

  • Experience with Office suites and Sage

  • Strong analytical skills
